Last March, and after three years of absence due to the pandemic emergency, we had the visit of Gebr. van Velden from the Netherlands, one of our most important customers for our Amaryllis bulbs. During his visit, Arie Van Velden, Managing Director of the company, inspected and discussed with our team aspects related to yield and quality related to the next harvest that begins in May 2022. 

With great pride and satisfaction, we can say that once again our team in Peru has done a great job to assure that we can have the highest yield possible, without compromising the quality and reliability that have been a constant for our amaryllis bulbs. We hope that this is a sign of the beginning of a return to normality, not only for our people and community, but also for our customers, and the industry in general

In April of this year, our wax amaryllis and bare bulbs for pot plants were exhibited at the 23rd HortiFlorExpo IPM Shanghai 2021.During the event several of our clients presented the different varieties, and wax amaryllis designs that Agro Floral produces especially for the Chinese market.

Among the companies that exhibited our products were Beijing Oriental, Shanghai Seed, Shanghai Hezhong, Zhejiang Licai Garden, and Guangdong Shengyin Flowers & Gardening.

We are very excited and grateful for the extraordinary acceptance and interest that our products produced during the show, especially for our large size wax amaryllis, and bare bulbs of red and double varieties, which are traditionally look for the consumer in China.

Compared to the 2017 version, IPM Shanghai 2021 showed an amazing increase of interest on Amaryllis, and we think that it is for sure a sign of a new trend in China. We are very proud to be one of the companies that is helping to create this market trend, delivering high quality and reliable bulbs as always.

First of all, we want to thank all the messages of support and concern during all this difficult time of global emergency. They have been months of uncertainty, a lot of hard work and commitment from our entire team, from the field to the management area.

We want to thank our customers, who have continued to trust in our products and service, and have supported us permanently, not only through their messages but also with their orders, even in the worst months of quarantine both in Peru and in their own countries.

Hard work and effort have paid off, and we can happily say that our 2020 campaign ended with normal production levels. Our field and process teams had the possibility of working in conditions of high sanitary security, following the norms established by the Peruvian authority.

After a successful harvest, we have also been able to complete the annual planting process without a problem, and we look forward to another successful campaign in 2021.

Our spirit continues high and we will continue to give the best of ourselves, in order to deliver our amaryllis bulbs on time, with the highest quality and reliability.
